About the Dentist
Dr. Jose Hernandez-Gil is an experienced dentist whose career has been shaped by a deep commitment to service and comprehensive patient care. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Saint Louis University and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry.
Dr. Hernandez-Gil has practiced general dentistry for decades, providing a wide range of services that include preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and surgical care. His clinical experience spans emergency dentistry, implant placement and restoration, oral surgery, periodontal therapy, sedation dentistry, and clear aligner treatment. His background includes extensive work in public health, serving rural and geographically isolated communities before transitioning into private practice.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hernandez-Gil has a lifelong passion for dogs and has spent decades training and showing English Bulldogs and Saint Bernards. He also enjoys the outdoors, especially snow and skiing. Dr. Hernandez-Gil is fluent in Spanish and continues learning French.
